There are two kinds of creatures we need to know, the old creature, and the new creature. The old creature is the first man, and all that hailed or proceeds from him. This first man was created by God and once lived in the garden of Eden before he was sent out because of his disobedience to God’s instruction. The old creature is a carnal and a sinful man, a man of the flesh whose life is the life of the flesh, and walks according to his physical senses.

The old creature lives in this earth realm, and because he lived in the earth realm, he is limited in many things and in many areas. To sum it all, the first man is a creature who is limited in his mind, his thinking, in his ability, and in his words; his life is full of limitations, and there’s nothing he could do to improve his state and condition since he already became God’s enemy because of his sin; it was the entrance of sin into his life that brought limitations into his life; sin limits the potential of everything, and anyone who is connected to it.

Jesus came in the form of the old creature, the limited man, but was not limited because he had no sin, meaning there was nothing that could limit him since he had no connection with that which limits, sin. When He came, He destroyed sin in the flesh through His death on the cross, and became the first born of the new creature.

By destroying sin, Jesus destroyed that which has been limiting man; and by rising again from the dead with a new life, God created a new kind of being who is called the new creature. Today, everyone who receives the resurrected Christ becomes a new creature; not a creature with the old life, but a completely new kind of being, a new and a very special breed, a brand new creature with a new life, the very life Christ has.

The old creature has the old life with its mind which is limited, but the new creature has a different life called the new life. Having a new kind of life means he has new mind, the mind of Christ. The mind of Christ is the new mind that the new man in Him has, that’s the mind we all have, and because we have the new life, we’ve become super-intelligent beings: having the mind of Christ has made us super-intelligent beings. We are super-intelligent, and anyone who wants to be super-intelligent like we are just needs to receive Christ, be filled with the Holy Spirit and walk in the consciousness of his new life in Christ.

Prayer
Precious Father, I thank you for the new life you’ve given me in Christ, help me Lord to comprehend this new life so that I can be more conscious of your life in me every day, in Jesus name. Amen.
